Mrs. Stiles has taught at Bethany Christian Academy for nineteen years. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Social Science from Simpson University and two California teaching credentials. She is fun-loving and full of passion. Her greatest goal is to see students and adults alike fall in love with Jesus. She lives with her husband and four daughters in the heart of the O.C. Her primary job is to teach Math, History, English, and Bible at a Christian school that is small in size, but BIG in its passion for Jesus. She can often be found teaching CPR, leading Bible studies, or teaching at retreats for women and high school students alike.
More than anything, she wants people to encounter the Jesus that is, not the Jesus she wants Him to be. She wants people to learn to love education, but more importantly to learn to love the author of creation and the purpose of education. Her goal is to create students who will change this world not because of how smart they are, but because of how wise they are in the ways of God. Her philosophy is: education without God is just facts, and will eventually fade away. Education founded on truth will serve them well into eternity.
She is also passionate about helping children with autism and epilepsy. She prays continually for these children and their families. She knows that her God is the God of impossible dreams, and she entrusts these children and their families to Him.
